Storrs Farmer’s Market

Come join the fun, meet new folks and shop for the freshest vegetables, most succulent fruits, fresh-caught fish, locally raised beef, honey, award-winning maple syrup, herbs, and fresh breads and baked goods every Saturday, rain or shine, from May 3rd - November 22nd from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
in front of EO Smith High School (Route 195).
The Storrs Farmer’s Market also features hand-dyed, hand-spun wool, handcrafted jewelry, potted plants for your garden or patio, garden ornaments, wind chimes, and hand-cast pots, even greeting cards by local artists, and weekly entertainment. See you there!

Tour de Mansfield: Village to Village

This event is to provide a family-oriented activity for areas residents, encourage exercise through cycling, bring awareness to the scenic beauty of Mansfield's villages, draw attention to the Storrs Center/Downtown area, and to bring the community together around a social and recreational activity. The day is designed to appeal to riders of all levels, and will include a 5-mile Family Fun Ride, along with 20-40 mile "challenge ridge". The cost is $10 for an individual, and $25 for a family. 5th Annual Festival On the Green

Save the Date! The Fifth Annual Festival on the Green is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 12 pm to 5 pm. Presented again by the Mansfield Downtown Partnership, the Festival will be held, rain or shine, at the Storrs Center Commercial Plazas (Rain Location is inside the E.O. Smith High School). The Festival features events all day long including pony rides, contests, parade, music, demonstrations, and more! interested in volunteering to help with the Festival, please contact the Mansfield Downtown Partnership at 429-2740.
